Kanyakumari - also known as Cape Comorin, Kumari and Kumari Munai is the only magnificent destination where there is a confluence of three seas namely the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Due to this phenomena people call it as KOODAL which means "the conjunction". This rocky mainland' located at the Southern Most tip of the Indian Subcontinent is the only place on earth where one can experience the spectacular vision of sunrise sunset, and most significantly the beautiful moonrise during the full moon day.

It is even more special and spectacular on Chitra Paurnami [full moon that occurs in Apr-May] when one can view both the sun and the moon facing each other on the same horizon, a rare sight of unique grandeur, which seems to happen by prior arrangement.
